This is why TLR and Horizon are smart. Release the 3.0 nitro and as you can see they are making a ton of money from the guys who are converting them to electric. After they sell enough 3.0 nitros in the next six months you'll see a dedicated electric version. I think the biggest change to the electric will be no fly wheel hole in the chassis and moving everything back on the chassis similar to what they did to the SCTE 2.0. It's just smart marketing from Horizon. I have been curious though to see an under the hood shot of Adam Drake's 3.0e from the AMS 4.0 which he won. Right now I can't see buying the nitro and going through the trouble of selling or keeping nitro parts that I won't be using and paying another hundred dollars for the electric conversion. There will be a roller 3.0e sooner or later the market is getting bigger and bigger for e-buggies right now.

BCE should jump in using the parts off the SCTE 2.0 and a new NO Holes for nitro and straighter drive line. Produce a new layout . Could be Interesting.
So from the SCTE:
Servo mount
Batt Tray
The chasi narrow and the dogbones straight down the middle no offset. Maybe even play with 2-2 cell lipo like the Hekno.
Just saying. Could be fun.

Drake was running a converted 3.0 at AMS. We were there and saw his car.

I bet you see a 4wd buggy from TLR before a 3.0e. And I'm OK with that! Lol

To me it's the C rating.... the Punch. Your motor and settings are for the most part, but the clamed C rating is a factor in the snappy feel your car produces with a higher C rated Batt. Who know's.... It's here this week .( my new LiPo) Race Sunday. I will let you know. My Goal is a Lighter car... Not some Heavy Brick that can last 30 min.
