Will the d812 shock towers work on the d8?
Was wanting to put longer shocks on my Tekno converted d8 and use the d812 shocks and towers if possible

Yes, D812 towers will bolt right on as the Diff cases are identical from the D8/Ve8 to the D812.

Seriously looking at doing something very similar to this, but either can't find the part number or there are more than one possibility and the Elite motor mount appears to be out of stock

Tekno coupler is #TKR5075

I emailed Elite to find out when more D8 mounts will be back in stock. I ran the RC Monster one this past season and it worked good.

The Version 2 HB Wing mount is not available to the public yet, but here is the part number for it #114414 and the +10mm wing is #114415

Thanks Jeremy, I updated my post with the remaining part numbers. Your conversion looks super sharp. Time to go spend some money... LOL

Just got reply from Brandon at Elite RC and he says it will be some time before he makes more motor mounts as he is focusing his time and energy on some other projects.

Just a reminder for people who want to do the conversion.
The front grub screw for the diff coupler is too long. Replace with a shorter one or dremel. The steering rack will hit it in max lock. Also check that the front pin has a indentation or it will fall out. Mine didn't and the first run it disappeared. Weird that they haven't fixed that in the kits yet.

I also dremeled the steering rack ends at the lower part, where the bushings go in by about 2mm and took that amount of the top of the metal bushings. Also put a Tekno front coupler with retainer sleeve in.
