I just prepaid mine thru my LHS. They told me they were getting them mar 7th. I'm super stoked. Been wanting a scte since last year but been waiting ever since I heard the rumbling of the 2.0 coming out. Going to be putting a soektrum s6040, tekin rx8 and pro4 4000 in it.

Can you use the screws from the 1.0 to convert to the 2.0 and what is used for the conversion( what parts do you need to buy).

I know that the 2.0 towers can be used on the 1.0 with no mods . The other things i dont know if it will work on the 1.0 chassis or not . Im curious also i would slowly buy the new 2.0 parts if most them fit on it.

The shock towers mount to to the diff cases, it will fit on the 1.0 as the front and rear are identical. If you've had your truck for a long time, I suggest upgrading anyways to refresh your truck. The new parts will almost cost half of a new one but then you have a 80% worn truck with worn plastics.

What's every one paying for the 2.0? My lhs should have them next week or shortly after!

Congrats on the baby news!

I just pulled the trigger on upgrade parts to the 2.0.

I do have another question for Ryan/Casper, why the inserts for the body mounts to shock towers?

Additional holes were added to the shock tower. If you use the outer holes the nuts will hit the tower mounts. If you use the old shock locations you can use the tower mounts without the spacers.
