Picked up the MIP shock valve system..
Happy to report they work great. I have been running with the Dunford set-up with 30f w/ blue springs and 25r w/ red springs on a large 1/8 scale size indoor track that is toned down for 1/10 scale. I started with the brown valves (rated slow), and it felt ok, today I switched to the clear valves (medium) and changed to 27.5r w/ orange springs. The truck turns in hard now and feels great.
Picked up a second per lap... yahoooo!!! Not bad for the old guy.
Had to experiment with bleeding the shocks using the MIP valves to get the air out to use the emulsion system. First attempts not so good as I discovered the valves do not allow the air to slip by on the compression stroke when you bleed them. I tried again, going slooooowly, but got the same results.
I figured it out.... you have to lay the shock over at an angle, more that 45 degrees with the bleeder hole pointing up. I compress the shaft until a little oil comes out and then pump just a tad then let it set for a minute, (laid down using a battery to lean it on (yes that much of an angle). I then continue to compress the the shaft the rest of the way in, using a couple of short pumps while doing this. I inserted the cap screw while still at an angle.
WhaaaaLaaa.... it worked.

Just to save a cpl bucks I might go with a Hobbywing sct pro esc, are there any bad reports or cons with this esc? What are you guys running? Is the Tekin rx8 that much better?

HW SCT Pro has been good to me on my SCTE and e-buggy.
It has been in my SCTE for almost 2 years. Other than replacing the fan recently, no issues. If you get it, to avoid headaches, make sure to set the LVC to below 3V/cell.
From what I have seen, Tekin has more configurable features, but not that important to me in this application. More important in 2-pole motor tuning, but there is a different ESC for that.

Just so you all know, the thick sway bar set, TLR334025, and the -3 chassis, TLR331015 will be live and shipping tomorrow if interested.
