tekin only recommends the RX8 for use with the pro-4 and pro-4 HD.

Real life experience here. I have a scte I run on a medium size indoor track. I have the hobbywing sct pro Esc and had it paired with the tekin 4600. Had good power but felt like I needed a little more. Heard great things about the hobbywing 4000kv and that it was stronger than the 4600 tekin. So I splurged. In my 15+ years of rc racing that very well may have been the best investment I ever made. The hobbywing 4000kv is so powerful it's almost cheating. I ran for 10min at my track and we have a fairly large triple. With the tekin after about 4-5min I was unable to make the triple anymore (yes info realize that also has to do with my battery discharge rate) same truck same batteries same everything just the hobbywing motor made the triple lap after lap after lap. And even after 10min still came off the track at 130. The motor is an animal.

EVER SEE THE STICKY ABOUT LOOKING FOR THE THREAD YOU NEED INSTEAD OF STARTING A NEW ONE>>>>?????GUESS NOT!!!!!!!!!!: ha:
USE THE MOTOR AND ESC OUT OF YOUR SLASH!!!!!!!Jk Best bang for the buck go Hobbywing !!! P.s. Both SCTE threads are very helpful.

///// Prolly just drive line parts(drive shafts frnt and rear as well as sise to side and axels) They may fail at some point.I have NEVER broken an arm frnt or rear in three years of running this truck! Did have failures at the shock holes when I was over tightening them .I can`t even remember what may have broken in that time as well!!!RUN IT!!!!!

Only thing I can think of are the option shock springs. Stock springs work well but black front and silver rear are used on the latest setup the team guys run.

I ran them a couple years ago. Didn't have any problems, but I was running a 2 pole motor at the time so they weren't stressed like my current setup with 4700 Hobbywing 4 pole.
