Maybe someone mixed up some screws. There is a 3mm screw that comes with the car but it is used to hold the servo horn in place on most metal gear servos. Thats all its for. The screw going through the servo horn and ball and held in place with a nut is a 4-40 screw.[/QUOTE]
Thanks hacker07 for clearing this up...
I ran with hacker07 set up today on a VERY DRY outdoor track and it was money... Thanks to you and Casper for all the support...
What other bodies fit this truck correct?
Thanks,Tommy

I noticed that if you make the batt compartment as long as possible the batt strap does not fit.
The second pic the red arrow indicates the strap is sitting on top of the post.
Oh yea, check batt dimensions before you order.
This batt will not fit http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbycity/s...dProduct=17252
But lucky for me I have McGyver skills !

The multiple positions are simply that, forward, middle, and rearward battery positions. For this, the strap is one length. This is not meant to make longer and shorter packs fit. ROAR uses a given battery dimension and that is what we use to make the dimension for the battery compartment here.
Doh ! I gotcha, makes sense..
Any suggestions ? Is there a longer strap available ?
Funny, I just sized up an old tooth brush that is long enough..lol
Thanks Hacker..

shock towers
Does anyone know if the 2.0 shock towers wil work with the 1.0
#3581
Are these a 16 big bore shocks like the tekno
#3582
Yes, but in order to take advantage of the new shock mounting positions the 2.0 towers offer, you will also need to purchase the plastic spacers that mount along with the body mounts. Basically, the spacers just move the body mounts about a quarter inch away from the tower to make room for the shock standoffs and nuts that secure them. Another thing to consider is that your body mount holes will change as well with this new spacing.

Ran the truck for second time last night. The first night was with hackers setup ant the rear would get every loose on me. This is indoor track well preped. I went to 775 diff oil and moved the battery all the way back and moved the front camber link up and in on the shock tower. Dropped .8 of my fastest lap time before the changes. This diff oil combo works very well and keeps the rear under the truck. If you are having this issue try it out. I would love to hear if others find it as good as I do.
Here is a video of the track last night

Part number for rear gearbox bearing insert for some reason one of mine fits snug and the other just wobbles around, I know there's a aluminum one tlr3100 but I'd rather just pick up the plastics for now
