@hacker, I mentioned before my rear ring gear tore 2 teeth off and I had ordered one but the way it mounted was backwards so I think I ordered the wrong one, should I just contact HH and get a replacement which I should of in the first place?

Hay guys,
Where can I buy the new carbon shock towers? I noticed the rear tower, it's not broke but the top layer of carbon is splintered, just about an 1/8 of an inch on the edge in the center right next to where it bolts to the case. I'm thinking of just putting some CA glue on it and running it. It's not bent, I don't think carbon bends. So, where can I get these if I have to end up replacing it?

I also broke a part on the steering bell crank. Should I just pay $6 for another plastic set or pay $35 for a complete alum. set? I have noticed that over the last week there has been a lot of slop in the steering. Is this normal? It looks like it is in the plastic rod ends. Do these need to be replaced often?

Ok, last question.
I have already replaced two CVD pins in the center drive line ( front and rear). I have been told that I should upgrade to the, dare I say it, Hekno CVDs because they are stronger and last longer. Has anyone replaced there center CVDs and front and rear dog bones?
Going to rebuild my truck and also order some avid revolution bearings to get ready for the out door season.
Thanks guys.

Every losi I've owned has had a good amount of slop in the front end and steering. It is normal as far as I know and in my opinion has a positive effect on the cars handling characteristics.

Always glue edges of c/f before you instàll them to prevent delamination
You prob need new rod ends n ball links
I have broken a bell crank n replaced with alloy
Get the m2c coupler pin keepers so the dont fly out of the plastic coupler retainer
I hear teckno stuff wears just as fast
Did i cover all Q?

Yeah, those never passed QC and got put into stock on accident. About 60-70 of them made it out before I caught it and pulled the rest from stock. They were packaged wrong.

I just spoke with Horizon to get replacement caps and he said they should ship out on monday.

The post is 3mm so you could use a 3mm locknut and a large washer on the front for now and just undo the rear one to change the battery.

At some point it does affect the truck a bit,but not for a long while. What I tell people who are concerned with this is to: With the steering trim adjusted correctly run your car full throttle down the strait away and let go of the wheel, truck will continue to track forward and strait(if set up correctly) with all that slop.... Cheers...
