Nice man, I can't wait to pick up an rx8, in the mean time I'm running the pro4 4600kv as well w/ a HW sct pro and this thing rips, coming from a 2pole velineon to a 4pole higher kv I'm loving the speed and torque combo and temps aren't too bad either it's sweet how I could just roll up to a jump and punch it then clear it nice and smooth

Got done assembling and wiring mine up tonight. Didn't see anything mentioned in the manual ( or I didn't read the fine print ), is a mod1 pinion used on these? I put a 48p I had on it, and it just seems LOUD.

You need to use a mod1 preferably 12-15t depending on your motor

IMO anything slower than .15 would be considered slow.

Last night tqed by a lap and won the main at my local club race. I tried the first page setup with the phend/fischer purple front springs in the rear and it gave me a lot of on power stearing and drop my laps time down roughly .2 seconds. I tried the stiffer front black springs on the front and it took away some off power steering and made the truck tight. So blue springs in the front and purple front springs in the rear would be the way to go on a tight indoor medium traction clay mixed dirt track.

Does anybody run the Tekin SC4X motors? I saw them on the website last night and was curious how they did, seem to be a bit bigger and weigh about 2 grams over the pro4. Just curious

I run the 4.5 turn sc4x in my 1.0 and I am not down on power compared to anyone else at the track. They beat me with better driving and setups not motor power. If you want lighter then the pro4 or pro4 HD might be better.

The fact there's still 6' of the white stuff on the ground doesn't exactly help.

Its more to the point of saying thing's that aren't true.

also the editing issue has been going on for what seems like years. maybe he should have 6k posts due to half of them being doubles.

check and make sure your bearings are pushed all the way on the diff case as this is what caused binding in mine and all i had to do was push on the bearing alittle as it wasnt all the way against the case
