Nope...The 2-56 screws 'should' screw into the bulkhead to secure the hinge pin brace. My last car I ended up drilling out the brace a little and using a 4-40 screw.

Yes, nothing changed from the B4.1 WC other than a few upgrades.

OCRC guys what is a good motor size for sportsman on B4.2. Heading down south for a few days to beat the heat and might want to do a little practice while wife goes shopping.

Not sure what you're trying to say.

The bulkhead is plastic on the FT and the pin retainer is aluminum which is held in place by two small screws that are supposed to thread into that plastic bulkhead.

The problem is, the screws are too small and the hole are too big.

This has notihing to do with the top plate.

Anyone tried any of the lunarRC stuff? I noticed they have a couple of parts that could drop a few grams in the rear end.

Motor plate:15.7 (stock) and Lunar RC 13
Outdrives: 26 (stock) and Lunar RC 17

So add that in with the MIP topshaft you are able to drop almost 20grams in the rear end.

Vito if you are asking for metal front hexs you can look into Jconcepts, avid, AE, there more I know.

I can't tell by the picture but are those outdrives meant for the updated transmission or are those the older drives with the smaller bearing race?

It says they are for the updated transmission, almost looks like they took the AE outdrives, drilled them out, and heat treated them.

I'm going to order the rack, outdrives, and the idler shaft for the hell of it. Always interested in checking out different stuff. Been looking for a light idler shaft for awhile now anyway.

I run 17.5 most of the time also, so getting rotational mass down is always a plus.

Hideeho
The outdrives use 10x16mm bearing per their site, so they are for worlds or newer. They look REALLY nice too! I think I like the Vision ackerman bar better, but the rest of their stuff looks real nice & USEFUL. I have officially added most of their stuff to upgrade I want to add (outdrives will probably happen soon as mine will need to be replaced soon).

Please report back, I also run 17.5, and I am really interested in the outdrives, and steering rack.

If someone is interested I decided to go with the Black Jconcepts Wing mount and Wheel nuts, I have a like new set of Blue wing mounts and thick wheel nuts I will sell for $35 Shipped, the only mark is on two of the wheel nuts when I had to use a metal nut driver to get them off, because of this I will throw in a set of new JC blue battery nuts.
