Can't beat em either, light and you get the added bonus of the countersunk wheelnut seats.

+1. Best looking and strongest wheel as well as the truest running.

I tun green/green springs because I wanted it to push a little. with black or brown fronts it was undrivable for me. you could always try 30/27.5 oils.
Mine did as well.

I built my 4.2 per the box setup. Only thing I did different was C towers and a shaved U brace. Ran the car for a half a lap brand new and pulled it off. No rear side bite on power and pushed like mad off power. I changed the shock positions and moved the rear hub and it was a different car. The next weekend I replaced the C towers with A's and left the shaved brace, no washers. Now, the only time the car lacks rear side bite is if the tires are gone or the track is dusty, dead dry and hard.

+1 on the kit setup as a starting point. I ran on a fairly large (I believe 60x180 feet) 1/8 outdoor clay track that was grooved on the line and dusty/marbled off the line. I'm a mid-pack driver, and our local fast guy was commenting how hooked up the buggy looked! I took that as a huge compliment, for both me and the car! The car was box stock, Holeshots on the back, ribs on the front, set up exactly to the manual's specs. I was running a Haiyin 40C Lipo (a little on the heavy side) with an 8.5T motor. Battery was all the way forward in the tray.

You just made a good point there at the end.

I like a lazy car. Therefore, I run a regular battery pack all the way back. All foams are forward.

I just put that exact setup on the rear end of my car last night. Now I'm really looking forward to trying it out.

Another good reference http://www.petitrc.com/setup/associa...dRC10B4.2.html Under B4 setup tips in the fourth paragraph down he suggests 0š anti squat to free up the rear end, and have the most balanced traction.

I run all box stock setup with these changes

Front shocks
1.6 Pistons
30wt oil
3 Limmiters
Black Spring

Rear Shocks
1.6 Pistons
27.5wt Oil
2 limmiters
Black Springs

Shaved Rear Brace with 1mm shim
A hubs Using the second from inside hole

Run your ride height at 25mm all around

We run mainly on 1/8th scale style tracks so large jumps and bumpy when we run there is usually some dust on the track.

Hope this helps,
Jason

Hello I'm new to the thread.

Just picked up a B4.2 and I want to confirm that any +8 body for the the B4.1 worlds chassis will fit the 4.2. Same chassis right? How about the Intercepter body for the B4 A Main says it's compatable?

Thanks

that is NOT a +8 chassis. the rtr still comes with the old school -8mm body.

Really, I didnt expect that. Can you make a -8mm body fit a +8mm chassis?

Yes. A clip in the rear and Velcro in the front (stick Velcro to the sides of the chassis). Works for me. Not ideal, but acceptable.
