Ok, I'll be the first to ask. Where did you get the Flourscent wire
|
hehehe. I searched high and low and I finally found a place online. However, I have the link on my machine at the office so I will let you know on monday.
Tis why I so desperately want a few sets of wheels in Neon Green! |

is x factory the only company that makes a mid motor conversion? our local outdoor track is carpet and those mid motor rb6's are cleaning up! is the x factory kit really good?

uses more of the "stock" pieces, making spares alittle easier. http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...n-Kit-B4-41-42 the xfactory cubed should be fully released soon too |

12awg http://www.ebay.com/itm/12-AWG-Coppe...item41734a0688 I wanted 12 gauge neon green but they no longer make it. Got the 14 and it's fine. I did get the Neon Orange in 12 for my truck though. ;) |
whoa the new x factory kit is $230?
I was thinking of teaming up with a guy at my track that is very good at solid works and we can make a few mid motor conversions with a aluminum chassis. if we get any further I will post up some pics of a proto type. I don't know how many we would build if there is that big of a demand? would it be a good idea to run a 3 gear diff? just flip it around? and reverse the motor direction? |

Yep, I saw that orange. Got 10 feet on the way
Another way to do it is to strip it as regular size and then tin it will and using a dremel, take it down to the desired diameter and then slide it into position and solder it well. Just be sure you strip off less than .125" and use top quality solder so it looks like a factory job. |
I think he uses tekins
