more droop allows for more dramatic weight transfer front to back and left to right. It will allow more roll in the corners. Also under acceleration more weight will shift back and more forward on braking. Maifields 1 front and 1 rear seems a little bit out there and I think he only ran that once. try it if you like to feel the difference. Also, landing will be a little softer because the wheels will have more down travel.

Green Rear

1 Limiter
3 x 1.4 tapered Pistons front and rear.
How do those pistons work?
Its taper bottom flat on top right?

they work fine for me. let is know what you think of the 1/1 milliliter setup

I probably wont try the 1/1 setup for a few weeks.
I tend to wait and do major setup changes.
I will be trying this setup next:

How do you think that track (Mikes Hobby Shop) compares to this one (my local track):

You can unscrew the shock bottom a couple turns to see how more droop feels. I think you can can 3-4 turns easily. Measure the gap between the body and the end. then unscrew and take not of how much it did. each limiter is .030 inches. That is the easiest way to get more droop without taking your shocks apart.

Thanks wildcat, but...
Nevermind.
Just did some more research and thinking and this setup seems to fit my track best, I just need to remove one front limiter and then I am identical to it.

I just bought a gently used B4.2, it is a kit that was run "3 times", I plan on running in a local Stock 17.5t Class that is very competitive. I am planning on adding a Novak GTB2 LP 17.5t Vulcan Combo, and Airtronics 94770, if there is a better setup at around the same price range I am open to suggestions. I use to run in a Modified Touring Class years ago, when lipos and brushless were just starting to catch on, so my experiance with these things is limited so any help is greatly appreciated.

Good to hear, I will definitely pickup some reedy short packs, I have 2 of the 14.8 5500's for my RC8.2e I picked up a couple months ago, and they have allot of punch.

Wondering if anyone is using Saddle packs, particuarly 1 pushed to the back and 1 pushed to the front with the spacer in the middle.
Seems like a bit of a middle ground way of achieving on/off power, grip and on/off power, steering.

Speaking of weight. I was talking to a tlr guy that runs mod at a race weight in the mid 1700's. lol, I asked him him if it was that much to knock the AE cars off the track. He just laughed. I guess the tlr buggies like weight in mod. I currently like about 1575 in 13.5 buggy for outdoor racing. If running indoor higher bite I drop about 30 grams.
