Ive been using the wolfpack shorty in my b4.1 and now my b4.2 with 10.5, 13.5 etc... Works good.

Grand

If I owned a 8.0 ?

Would've stick with the shorty, think its a great combo that would help smooth out the 60c ...

Learned a couple things at the track today:
I don't like Stick Packs
I don't like ESC on a shelf
I don't like C Hubs

I do want to try ESC in the battery tray. I will get to play with this next week.

I used the wolfpack in my 22SCT running an 8.5. It had plenty of power, never lacked any punch. I just thought that truck worked better with a heavier pack.

If you end up making them how long are you thinking?

Not sure, still have to order the material.
Just want to know if there is a big interest because I don't want to end up with 50 shelfs as spare parts haha

Did you change all three of those at once? If so maybe try one change at a time. Added weight from the stick pack, plus more weight over the battery in the rear is going to make the rear end really happy with that high of a roll center, assuming you did the shave brace as well.

I've always ran short packs in my car, but recently tried the ESC in the tray and really like it. I tried the shelf but my SP Reventon Pro is too big to sit above the battery, so I haven't figured out a way to make that work without hitting the body yet. So far though, I like the tray position.

Ran Ray Munday's Low Grip setup (Aussie Associated Driver) today and Hells Horses!

First time driving the car, literally its first time on dirt and I TQ'd the B stock main, would of made A Main but popped a ball cup in the 2nd Heat and we only run 2 qualifiers although in that 2nd qualifier I did set fastest time of day until the very last race.

Took 3rd in the first race, 1st in second race and 1st in third race.

Now see how I go in the A Mains in a fortnight! :sneaky:

So happy with this car, ran it without the ballast weight, be interesting to see how I go with the ballast weight.

Carbon fiber front tower. Thoughts.

For about $32 I do not think so. It may look awesome and preform awesome, but I will not spend $ on a front shock tower for a 2wd buggy.

That looks sweet, like a B44. I have to order a few for my cars. 5mm nice and thick and would help stiffen front I think. It looks tough.

Looks like 6 different ball stud mounts. That will be fun to play with, will need to measure to see what stock setup is and current setup and go from there.

No I have been going back and forth on battery and hub towers for the last couple weeks. I ran the shelf for the past week. Had a lot of time to tune with those and I just came to the conclusion I am better without.
