I don't see the point in the JC low profile ball cups. There isnt a clearance issue between the wheel and ball cup anyways. And the JC low profile cups are thicker and rub on the springs even worse than what the original stuff does. They were on my B4.2 when I bought it. They are now off.

OK guys, just getting back into racing after a VERY long layoff and I have a T4.1 FT that I run the Ball diff. I traded my 22 for a 4.2 because the 22 just wasn't the same as AE for me, and it came with the Gear diff in it but I have all the parts to build the Ball Diff.
Question to you all is… Ball or Gear Diff? Thanks. |
here's a couple pics of the inline esc

Out of curiosity, why not run your motor wire (sensor and all) between your Wing Mounts and through the center opening in the shock tower? This way your wires are not so contorted.

ball diff for sure! Gear diff is usually used when there's an insane amount of traction like running on carpet or something.

Question on Electronics (I know there's a section for that but it has very little foot traffic so I figured I'd ask here)
My Reventon R ESC's leads are a hair too short and I'd like to solder on new wire, but was looking for a specific color that by luck I found, only it's 14 gauge. The stock wiring on the ESC is 14 as well but I was wondering if there's an advantage to going with 12 over 14. If not I can order the wire right now and solder everything up once it arrives. I think it's will make my ride look so much sharper and totally unique. |
I doubt you will notice between 12 and 14 kn 2wd buggy

Thanks for the prompt reply Wildcat. Associated guys are still the best!

I thought we'd lost you to the Kyosho thread:) When are you going to share your thoughts on that sled? Or have I missed that post?
