Just broke front shock tower on my b4.2.

Any recommendations for replacement? The one that I broke was the stock tower provided with the original kit.

Thanks.

Hey guys, just ordered a b4.2 and I'm coming from 1/8 nitro and 4wd sct... just wondering what springs I should be picking up? Running on a clay/med-bite indoor track.. Any help is appreciated.

I would start out with the stock set-up, should be a good starting point out for you. Or you could ask a local B4.2 driver who seems to have a good base setup.

My local track is sorta like yours and for the mostpart mine is stock setup, with the only changes being shaved u-brace, avid shock pistons, and C-hubs...

This is a great buggy! You did pretty good on your selection!

I just a b4.1! Do you really need the big bores? I have all there other updates tho!

What color rear shock springs does the b4.2 come with? And how can you tell which springs are on a buggy? I noticed that even the springs that are "white" rating are actually black in color...ha.

Thanks.

all the springs are black in color!

The kit springs are black front and white rears. The springs come with a small piece of shrink wrap that you put on the spring. Thus "marking" it.

I am getting no luck on the electronics thread. I swear no one looks at that. Can anyone answer this?

I just recently switched over to hex wheels. I'm noticing my AE wheels are buckling at the webbing inside on the rears.

Anyone have any opinions of the Pro-Line, AKA, or Avids?

wild gopher 04-22-2013 11:31 PM

I'm sure Wildcat will chime in on this one
