Speaking from experience trying no grub ..

Have 4 AE cars and never had a dnf due to not using the grub screw. I feel it causes extra bind in the CVA. CA the snap ring and your good.

Whats the skinny on running 22 rear's on the b4.2. I am very tempted to go to ae , But I have so many motuntd 22 wheels/tires.

yep the big three are all the same rears, the tlr has different fronts from the other two.

Your good to go. The rears bolt right on without a problem.

TLR rims are 1mm wider offset compared to associated wheels

Not sure that is true. But they are thicker for sure and use more axle

Can torque the grub screw with all my might and will not bind at all .

Guessing you have a bigger & more powerful .050 then me ...:blush:

dont ever base your decision on this. the simple fact is that either the tires or the foams will break down quick enough, so you would be replacing them anyway. Plus when you sell your old car, having alot of tires included makes it more attractive to potential buyers. to them, they are getting more value
