I tried the Slash, could not get it to work for my liking. As I saw a few hauling ars with theirs, mine was a nightmare in comparison. I gave in and bought a SC10 and felt right at home with it straight out of the box, FT with stock manual setup with a couple tweaks for shock fluid and piston choices for indoor clay. I think somebody can make a Slash win(not me), but for more $ than another SC truck costs(AE or LOSI). The Slash to me is the ultimate tinker upgrade truck. Had fun trying to make it work with less than successful results for myself, but as stated before I have seen a few win the stock sc class a few times. Have fun with whatever you drive, that is what we do this for, right?

I try a guys SC10 RTR it must of been the stock setup but man that thing was twitchy even if i turned down the dual rate Im guessing its also because there so light compared to my LCG Slash. I just bought some Losi springs and the Proline steering kit. Should be good !

If you like a nautal feeling 2wd SC thats what the LCG Slash feels like on carpet at least.

But yea have fun with whatever you run.

You will always have individuals talk down, teasing, or are jealous . You have clicks at every track these items are real world attributes. People will always criticize its the nature of the beast. My advise is run what you can afford and practice. Placing isn't everything but it's sure nice it shuts down all the talkers.
