Yesterday I try the car with some droop and I really don't like how it handle after... maybe not the good value!! guess i have to try an other time
So I am back with no droop.
I notice that at full shock compression (with the four o-ring and rear hub forward) the rear rim grind the arm, some one had notice that?

Thanks! She had a great time driving it, and I got to see how the emulsion setup looked and felt. I think I may have to order some new caps and give it a try.

Both vehicles felt great, love how fast the rotation is with the SCT410.

Those are 1/2 deg. changes instead of 1 deg.

The Tekno`s are overtaking one of my local tracks. I saw lots of them Sunday, and had the chance to help out a new owner with a spring loan. I enjoy helping out fellow Tekno drivers. We have a State Championship Race in 3 weeks, I`ll see what I can do to bring home a win.

yup, it was this listing I bought:

http://www.rctech.net/forum/r-c-item...sct-410-a.html

For the price, I couldn't pass it up. She was going to start with my RC10B4.X that had the front end "RPM'd", but, this worked out better.

Now the old man needs a new body, I think my flotek is done.

Anyone got a recommendation on any of the proline bodies outside of that EVO one?

Proline: I've seen the Toyota Tundra body perform well durability wise.

Not a Proline body but I have recently picked up the new JConcepts Nissan Titan body, and this is the best body I have used to date. The performance is awesome, and it is incredibly durable. Especially coming from the pathetic TLR Hi-Performance body which breaks even if you don't wreck it.

Thanks for the info on the bodies. I was going to buy the Nissan when it was on sale at amain but forgot the same ended yesterday!

Plus, I thought i could get a bit more mileage on my flowtek but she is pretty worn now, time to hang on the wall I am thinking and do another body. Heck maybe I'll mount her to 1/5 savage to give a weird monster look

I just put in all the new straight cut gears, and she is still pretty damn loud, better but still a noisy truck. By the way, anyone else who has installed the straight cut spur/pinion diff gears, did you use shims on the pinion either on the inside or outside of housing? I did 2-3 on the outside but none on the inside because it sounded the smoothest.

Take the small shim off of the diff pinion. Use the two larger shims on the diff side. If there is too much backlash, try one and one.

I started out with 2 shims on the pinion on the inside of housing and it did not sound smooth, so went to 1 and then none and put 2 on the outside to close the space between bearing and coupler. Does that not sound right? and what do you mean by backlash?

also, with the new angled rear housing I did not have to use any shims on the left and right side of housing, it was a great fit.
