It's real low so I guess it will work with a few shims.
Thanks

Took mine out for the first time yesterday and it was pretty dialed but the stock springs are way to soft so im thinking tekno greens front and rear will be perfect.

I use savox servos w both sct and EB, I use the horn on 1st page w couple shims but as he said you can make any work but tekno has their own aluminum horn now which is awesome.

BTW 1.5 rear hinge pin holder is back in stock on teknorc.com

Anyone noticed rear shock mounting position on tower that is specified in build instructions does not match what is on stock setup sheet in back of manual?

So what does this truck need right out of the box. I plan on buying one in a few days and I just need to know what would be beneficial to put on right away. Thanks.

I'm looking for a new motor for my truck. I'll be using a vtx8 esc. Should I go with the pro4 4600 or the pro4 hd 4300? What are the differences performance wise?

Tekno Aluminum hex's and a aluminum servo horn of your choosing (lower profile is better).

The HD motors make a little more power, run a little cooler, and are not Roar legal (if that matters to you). If you dont care about Roar I would personally buy a Tenshock or HobbyWing motor as you get just as much performance (or more) for almost 1/2 the money.

I just club race for now and maybe an occasional bash so I went with the HD 4300, it has about the same speed as the 4600 and some good bottom end all while running cooler, I run a 15 pinion but might gear down to a 13-14, if you plan on running bigger races get the 4600, I ran a HW sct pro xerun 4700 and I got the power I wanted it ran cool as well for about half the price as tekin, only difference between the 2 IMO is tekin is smoother and has better CS

I raced The ROAR outdoor points series race 4 at XRC raceway in PA. Saturday. I ran against Team Losi driver Brian Miskolczi, and Tekno team mate Devin Chesney. Qualifying was tight and the track was very technical and with only around 5 minutes practice with my SCT410 I knew it was going to be a long day. After Qualifying 4th behind Devin I was feeling pretty confident going into the main. After 8 minutes it was over and I finished 2nd , nine seconds behind Brian and 3 places in front of Devin. All in all there were 3 Tekno`s in the A main finishing 2nd, 5th and 7th.
I have posted a picture of the top three I am the one on the right with 1 arm......

What's the deal with no ROAR approval on 4300HD? I guess they only allow a 2 pole 550 and 4 pole 540?

The main advantage of the 4300hd is how cool it runs. Because I run the 4300hd with a 15t pinion in my tekno and my friend runs the 4600 with a 12t and we are neck and neck down the straight but he runs slightly warmer

Quick question about the new EB48.2 shock guides.

1) To confirm, they are a addition the the std parts tree and will be
a running change.

2) Will they fit in the existing SCT410 shock bodies?
