Look at the few pictures we've seen and you'll notice a few more of these similar parts.

The rod ends appear to be the same. The arms do as well...

The arms look different to me, with different shock mounting options in the picture in this post. It makes sense considering buggy and sct legal width is different.
I think we all agree that the large amount of common parts is great.

looks that way as that appears to be the common issue guys have when converting other 1/8 buggies is making the ROAR width. Probably CVDs in some way too.

CVDs make me wonder how much is shared with the scte drivetrain conversion.

Or the Slash 4x4 , all they have to do is make shorter a arms and front and rear bumpers as they have a couple different lenght CVDs already .... The nice thing is that Tekno likes to over build things so you know they are gonna be durable .

I will be getting one as soon as possible , but I still like my SCTE . Hopefully the extra weight wont be an issue with motors and runtime like it was with the SCTE ...

Based on the name of the EB48 I thought this SC truck would be called

ESC410:nod:

I bet they went back and forth. SCT or ESC. But we use "esc" for speed controls, so....haha.

Hey Daniel,

You don't have to answer this with details but do you plan on releasing other vehicles for 2013 other than the buggy and sct? I know a 1/8 e truggy might be far fetched but what about a 1/10 2wd buggy and or Stadium Truck? I think a matching set of 2wd buggy and 2wd ST would be awesome.

The future is wide open - anything is possible. We'll assess the market and figure out the best way to move forward.

What's funny is I've been through exactly this type of debate in my own company, so I can almost picture how the decision making process went :)

Danny, curious, how many people work on a project like this truck? Is it >10? Must be a super fun process, aside from the hours required.
