Any Idea when kits will ship to Tower Hobbies? I am on back order there.

can you fix the link to the spring chart on the website? It went back to the old one.

Oh, and can you put a note on there or somewhere stating the pistons available, ordered from most pack to least pack, etc. Saw it come up as a question on the eb48 thread, may be nice to have that clarified once and for all.

I checked the spring chart on the site, it's in the proper order (front - lightest to stiffest, rear - lightest to stiffest). What link has the old chart?

As for the pistons, they are in order from most pack to least pack - TKR6050->TKR6054.

The one on this page is coming up with the mixed old style order:

http://www.teknorc.com/shop/tkr5500-...t-course-truck

Can that info on the pistons be added to the first page?

Thanks Cain, we'll get it straightened out.

is this motor not enough for the tekno.or will I have heat issues with the heavier sct410.
I ran a HobbyWing 4700 for a few months and it has gobs of power. I recently installed one of the new Tekin HD 4300 why because I'm power junky. If your motor won't do it for you I'll guarantee that either one of these will have more than you really need. These motors run so strong they can give an 1/8 buggy a run for their money. Not saying they would win but enough power to really make it fun!

I think that means your over geared. The higher you gear up the more amp's the motor pulls from the esc making it get hotter than the motor. If you gear to low the motor is always revving or in a high rmp range pulling less amp's butt making the motor hot.
If I'm wrong someone please slap me.

remembered seeing this on rcmonster:

Hot motor + cool esc = Undergeared
Cold motor + hot ESC = Overgeared
Hot motor + hot esc = Way overgeared
Warm everything = Just right

Cain recommended the ProMatch 7200mah packs, I bought some of them and a couple of their 4s packs and I couldn't be happier. Real nice packs, great run time and gobs of punch!

Take it back, I wouldn't put up with crap like that. That guy is a salesman but he needs to give correct information. Get your cash back and buy a servo with enough power to do the job.

You failed to mention that the roar tech idiots passed all 4 trucks with their wings on in pre-race tech. Please explain to me why they would do that? Seriously myopic @-holes it would appear. An new organization needs to be implemented with people that truly understand the tech and let racers (i.e. the folks that pay the bills) have a say in what is legal and what is illegal in the classes they run. I have 0 respect for roar or their incompetent, illogically arbitrary leadership.
