The plastic caps are a little annoying.

I figured out they are hard to start threading because they are slightly oval shaped which makes them hit in 2 spots on the shock and easily rocks into a crossthread position unless you keep it perfectly aligned while threading. The ovalness lines up with the eyelet on top of the cap on all 8 of them, so that tells me it's due to how the plastic is molded.

Yeah. It won't bleed anything with the bladder because there's no fluid above the shock body. I guess it'd bleed a miniscule amount of air while threading the cap on.

Default new tekin motors

I backordered one of the new Tekin pro4 hd 4300kv motors and was told by amain that they would be available 4/26. Got up this morning ready to buy and now it says the motor will be available 6/1. That pisses me off! Any body know where that motor is in stock???? I don't really need it since I'm running a HW 4700 in my 410, it's more of a matter of I want it!

i run them on my rc8.2 and my rc8t
Fioroni pistons are out of stock
I run the CSI package in both the EB48 and the SCT410. I haven't really nailed down my sct410 setup, but right now I start with blue CSI pistons, 30wt/Green spring front and 25wt Orange or Red spring rear with AE oils and the same in my EB48.

You would be better off keeping the sct410. 1/8 buggy not very big around here I've only seen them run them 1 or 2 times in Foley.

that or buy the parts to make it a 1/8 buggy. Probably the good thing about where I go is that 1/8 E buggy is really big.

I wonder if out by you timamybrown it could get bigger with different power plants and battery setups, say the same gear as a SCT410?

Not sure nobody races them indoor because they are harder on the track. The super Saturday series isn't even listing them as a class this year because of the turn out last year. I feel pro4 is going to get big around here. His best bet would be to keep it the way it is or buy the parts to convert the truck to a buggy so he could go back and forth if he wanted to. 1/10 buggy and stadium truck are the biggest classes around here.
