Ya my Lock nuts that came with the kit are already serrated as well.

Another question, On the first page it says...

"Associated SC104x4 aluminum hexes will work if you sand down the pin side far enough that the hex cannot rub on the bearing or carrier"

What is wrong with them pressing up against the bearing? When I installed my SC104x4 aluminum hexes the lip thats on the pin side presses up against the Inner bearing circle, which spins anyway. So how is that a bad thing? Its not causing any resistance. Or em I missing something..

It will cause the bearing to bind and wear prematurely because the hex will press inward on the inner race while the outter ring will be supported by the plastic carrier/hub

ahhh. Well bummer. Guess ill have to order the ones from Tekno than

EDIT. On Teknos website it says their Aluminum hexes also fit the SC10 4x4... And the picture of them looks exactly like the ones I have. They have that little lip on the back side.

What's everyone using for droop setting? I have my shocks mounted at stock position but I have no idea where my droop screws should be set at. Is there a default setting or what?

Madjake I just saw a almost new rx8 for sale here in the for sale department. Dont settle for less on this heffer!n lol Ok I have finally managed to break something besides a few stub axles. Front spindle, carrier, and a-arm all in 1 crash! In the trcks defense I was 2 feeling no pain and hadnt realized my throttle travel was set to 150 when its usually below 80(smal indoor track still). Gotta say hitting a wall wide open w anything else would have been must costlier for damn sure!!!

Pulled off another win with my tekno. Best part is I beat my brother and his mip/scte. I only won by .256 seconds though. Thinking about moving my transponder to the front of the truck. Where does everyone else have theirs mounted?
