Is it just me or is anyone else overwhelmed with the 12 spring charts i've seen posted and the constant spring struggling?
I've ran kit springs since day 1 + my own setup otherwise and have never lost a race yet. I'm interested in springs, but I dunno. Heck, if the stock setting though feels good to you, keep blowing them out with it lol.

i was always in same heat as max so i couldn't see how it handled. the track was SO blown out it was pretty much who got around clean and avoided obstacles in my opinion. i recall a couple holes where it looked like half of my truck disappeared. lol |

i'm looking for a new sensored motor for mine. tired of the cogging w/ the sensorless. what's a good sensored motor for the tekno? i was looking into the hacker 5.5, but it's a 540 can 4 pole. does anyone see an issue running a 540 sized 4 pole?

Seeing PNB for the first time last year I knew I had to come back with a 1/8th. A good friend sold me his Tekno converted Mugen back in September and I was so impressed with what Tekno had come up with that I back-ordered the truck the day it was available. I love this truck but I still feel like with all the 2-wheelin' I've been doing that I'm still learning how to drive 4wd's. Max walked away with it last year and I knew how fast he was but as good as the Tekno felt I still thought I had a chance. To answer your question. Max's SC10 navigated the turns well and he found great lines but he had to double single the triple most of the time. The few times I saw him try it he crashed or barely drove away from it. I was able to keep the super tight lines where necessary and could of pushed my Tekno harder through the rough stuff but you always run the risks of a bad bounce or a break at that track and played it safe. Out of the 22 laps we did between the two mains I probably hit the triple 19-20 times only letting up if there was traffic. Chris Viesins (TQ) also looked like he had trouble with the triple and double singled most of the time. After 20 minutes of driving Max and I did 22 laps and I was 39 seconds behind. |

I would say you'd be in the minority if you didn't run a 540 4 pole...atleast, till the new Pro4 HD's hit the shelves...personally run the Tekin 4600 Pro 4...

Of course the Rev Pro works with your Blaze 5700, that isn't a 4-pole. I really want my Rev Pro to work in my SCT410, but it just doesn't reliably. With it officially not supported with 4-pole motors I don't want to smoke the ESC and have no warranty recourse. I ended up going with the HW SCT Pro 120 and its perfect.
