Blown up 02-28-2013 07:33 PM

So whats the word on the stub axles? A fluke? I cant see axles that are made by Tekno being weak since they make the best upgrade axles for the other brands that are weak. It's obviously not cost effective to convert a eb48 to sct. Please Tekno, put out an "R" version w/all the goodies I can't live w/o.

I though I'd throw a couple of pics out there for people considering giving their ride a new look without an airbrush.

I Picked up a vinyl graphics kit for the proline 09 Chevy body I had laying around to see how it would turn out, and I have to say I like it a lot. I imagine if you had an old body that wasn't too torn up you could breathe some new life into it with one of these kits.

Build difficulty

Would this be a good first kit? Love the car, love the company, just scared of the build.

That's what I wanted to hear. I'm trying to get mine setup to be as fast as possible. There're 2 other 410's where I'm racing and both the guys are real fast, lot more indoor experience than I have. I'm trying every thing I can think of to catch up. All three 410's are so fast it's just been a blast racing, more fun than I've had in a real long time. Last Sat we all walked off of the drivers stand laughing, just had a blast and it was a killer finish. Just too much fun!!!

Something to keep in mind with lightening up the truck, You may find that keeping some of the weight down low like the chassis would actually be a good thing.

I actually picked up a sct410 stock chassis cheap to test that idea on EB48, especially on the really loose stuff we run on out here.

CORRECTION: I picked up some crap that someone decided to pass off on ebay as used for 1 hour, but for whatever reason hogged out the hole for one of the steering posts. :(

Seems like setups are loseing out to screws:confused: I like the look of your setup, I'll try it out. For the front diving it could be one of two things. Rear oil is too soft causing the rear to slap the jump and bounce up. Or your front springs need to be harder.

+1. You could quickly test those ideas by going to a stiffer front spring with all the else the same.

Me personally, and I know guys are running the rear hubs more forward, personally I found a benefit to running the hubs back especially when tied to the nose down condition.

this truck is a breeze to build, in my opinion. The manual is very detailed and highly illustrated. each step in the process has the parts for that step in an individual bag so no guessing which screws to use or not. dont worry about. Just buy it and start loving yourself:sneaky:

Kind of nervous, was a hard decision between this and the scte 2.0. But I just ordered one so the wait begins!:batman:

This the " I used it for 1 race day (less than 1 hr. of runtime on it) and then switched to the lightweight optional chassis," chassis I just picked up. :(
