Tekno SCT410 Thread

Im running a Spektrum 6040 and the stock plastic arm with the saver at the stock setting. No trouble here and I have quite a bit of track time on my truck now. I just try not to hit poles and pipes.

get a hitec 7955tg servo and a ofna 24t horn (like on the first page)......and never look back. i run on my eb48 and sct410.....NO PROBLEMS at ALL!!!! i highly reccomend putting washers under link on bellcrank to assure a level link, this will put less stress on servo and increase longevity!!
..........p.s. if you look, this is what most tekno drivers are running as well, maybe a diff horn but pretty much the same. i'd stay away from the hb horn due to increase stress on servo, i snapped inside middle plastic piece (on 1/8 scale) in servo were output shaft comes thru. replaced middle plastic plate and horn to ofna, and been fine since, and thats an 1/8 scale, so you know that servo can take the abuse. NEVER stripped anything

Also broke my 2nd axle in 3 weeks.
I'm hoping it's really because I'm running the +3 Assoc rims/wheels and the axles themselves are not a weak point, crashes were not all that bad, just happened to come down on that tire first after trying to triple thru traffic...twice
Plan on eventually switching over to the correct rims but I have a box full of the +3 stuff laying around...

Any scte body is a direct fit. I'm using the tlr high performance sct body. It looks great but its really thin. Probably going with a jconcepts next.

I started a separate thread on the shock tools I'm producing. All further updates will be in that thread.
