Gene- No, I believe that was Jeff. I am just as short though :P I've had mine for a couple weeks now.

sffan15- I can't speak for Pres. But I can say I did it because I felt, on the track I am on right now, I simply do not need so much suspension/weight transfer. I feel that running less of each essentially flattens the suspension, yet still allows for proper droop.

The gears are the same. All but the first shipment include shims if you'd rather not grind the gear.

We have a big shipment of spares coming in the next few days, but all of the plastics will follow in another shipment. Probably a week more.

Matt, just run the box stock set up at first. You might be surprised how good it is. Depending on your track,it may be alittle tail happy. I think you might just like it though.

To be honest I was on that side till I drove mine. this is the track I run on:

Using an sc10 4x4 with a Pro4 4000Kv, motor came off in the 160s. using a Tekno SCT410 with a Pro4 4600Kv motor, 12T pinion (wanting to go up to 13T) I was down in the 120s if that. Motor was barely warm to be honest, and both my running with the sc10 4x4 and the Tekno were with fans on the motors.

Usually, I just carry the main spares. The odd ball stuff tracks in general don't carry anyway. Being at the mercy of the item being on the shelf I don't like.

what are you conditions matt? I think you may find Barry Bakers setup a good place to start if you are running on higher bite conditions. I am using that as a base for carpet with a few changes.

Doesn't this seem like alot of pretension on the shock springs to get to 26mm front ride height? I'm wondering if I did something wrong.

Everything from high bite indoor to loose outdoor.

It handled good and turned so sharp is was scary. But the 410 is so much heavier the 4.5t motor isn't enough power. I don't like the power band of the pro 4 so I'm thinking about going with the HW 4700. Where's the best place to purchase HW motors?

So I spent 2 hours today redoing my truck to Barry's setup.

Before the change, I had gone to 40/37.5 oils and dropped the front diff to 5k.

Now: I'm still trying to get used to a 3diff Truck. (Hardcore and succesful Sc10 4x4 Driver) Barry's setup feels smooth and clean. I enjoy driving it, but it doesn't feel "fast". Now correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm very much used to a knife's edge Truck, My Sc10 4x4. Barry's setup feels slower and times are a little slower. (about .550) than my shock oil and front diff change off stock

Running Tight indoor highbite Clay: TopGear Hobbies

I still need time to eliminate my style with the SC10 on this car, but I feel like the setup change slowed me down from the ability of a slight tweak stock setup.

Thoughts?

Looking at your track, it looks like you need a setup that turns better off power, and that's why the 5k front oil worked better. I would just change the front to 5K and try some laps and see how it feels.
