Default Avid or Boca bearing kit?

Both of the bearings in the left rear hub carrier of my SCT410 randomly destroyed themselves a few days ago. Im planning on buying a whole bearing kit from either, Avid ($25), or Boca (the $50 green seals). Has anyone on here used either, or have any reccomendations? I know BOCA is a good brand but ive been out of the rc game for quite a while and am not sure about Avid, but i like the avid price, obviously.
Thanks in advance.

I like the revolutions in all but the center diff (dirt on both sides of the bearing), nice bearings and their cheap enough to replace often to avoid a blow out or just to avoid cleaning

I usually get an Avid bearing kit for any car of mine as my spares. No issues with them so far.

looking for recent confirmation.

Do the Xray pistons work on the Tekno Shock shafts without any mods?

These:

and are they straight drilled holes or do they have some cone shape to them?

thanks, the piston "packs' they have are actually pretty cheap. thinking the cone would also give similar feel to the Tekno's, or close anyway.

AVID bearings are awesome AND reasonable! BOCA is just a name! Avid makes lots of cool stuff! Owned and operated by racers also! World champions use AVID bearings and accessories!

Can anyone tell me which aluminum shock caps work best for out doors, vented or non vented?

Vented will have slightly better rough track handling.

I tried the plastic vented setup and liked it. It felt closer to the emulsion feel to me at least.
