Your right about more angle smoothing out steering but the rear location on the rack gives less angle and more abrupt turn in.

Bumping up the 5MM tower offer. PM me if you want one.

Hello all, this is my first post here. I am getting ready to buy my first RC car in 20 years. After much research the first place was the SCT410. I will be buying it in stages (car, servo, motor, control etc). My question to all of you is are there any upgrages I should consider for the build? I have seen some of you have the BCE chassis upgrage. What is it? How does it help?

The Pro-line posts look nice. Looked on Amain and didn't see the mounts/posts for the Tekno. Which ones did you use?

There are two essential upgrades. Aluminum wheel hexes, and Aluminum servo horn.
The BCE chassis is an aftermarket chassis that is 1mm thinner, and milled out to reduce weight and increase flex. It also has an additional set of holes for the battery tray and moves it towards the rear. |

Thanks, did you have any issues with the 6500?

guys that are using the BCE chassis, any setup changes needed?
I heard put rear brace back on it anything else? I bought my sons truck used and chassis is very thin! thanks |
Not really any changes to the tune, you may be able to add rear antisquat if your not maxed out now. If your running lipo forward now, start with that and run it for a few packs, you will need to reset ride height.
Then move it to the rear, reset ride height and try that setting :tire: |
both trucks (His and Mine) have rear battery tray mod and ftw bodies
debating getting one to replace his wanted to see what it was all about! |

You buy this and cut the top ends off your stock posts. Drill a hole and put these in. If unsure buy a Tekno spare body post set just in case. |
Since we are on the topic, why is everyone buying the BCE chassis? Other than the battery position what is the big benefit to it? I hear a lot of people talking about weight but I think you can look at a SC10 4x4 and realize that being too light can be a problem especially on rough outdoor tracks? Even the team manager at Tekno told me that he would not run a light chassis, he would only worry about lightening the drivetrain and anything higher up on the kit and keep the weight low.

For me the BCE chassis settled the rear end down for me, I am also able to really attack the turns in and out. It jumps nice and level, I am able to control the truck in the air with ease. The number one thing for me was it made the truck consistent, their isnt any "what was that" as I am smh. I don't run it for weight savings, but it works for me either way.
