Yes I know, you got your kit a day an a half before me at least. I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to show mine off. Thanks again Danny for having mine hand delivered. The build was awesome!

Lt. Dan (in my Forrest Gump voice), the instruction manual isn't iBook friendly. Some pics doesn't show up :(

Just picked mine up today from NorCal Hobbies and hope to have it built overnight to be ready for Wed night club racing there. If I manage to finish it, I'll be sure to upload the video of my horribly sleep deprived driving. :)

I haven't yet built and run these, but the EB48 diffs (the buggy this kit comes from) never leaked on me.

I highlighted your problem in red.

After having built them, the tolerances on the front and rear diffs are so perfect that I'd be surprised if they leaked with 2 screws and no seal. Oh, and the screws use standard 2mm hex, so you won't strip them out either, like many did the Losi screws.

Chassis comparison

1 Attachment(s)
I just thought I'd throw this up for folks comparing the chassis. Something that isn't immediately apparent is the sloped droop screw area and sloped rear on the bottom of the optional chassis.

Pinion dremel

1 Attachment(s)
For those that are dremeling instead of shimming, it is a fair chunk to take off. Here's how much I did, though I went a little further than needed to try and clean up my grind job. I put a pre-grind pinion next to it for reference.

And this is about how believe you want it to sit, so just an edge of round area is left for the diff coupler to stabilize on, but there is room for the set screw to be flat.

What kind of dremel head do you need to do that?
