probably due to the stiffer springs I am assuming being made at the time specifically for the EB48, and hence are longer.

Oh well, better than nothing. I cut them into a short video. One clip was using the slow motion mode on the iphone 5s, and that turned out pretty neat.

On my second battery, I was actually overtaking other SCT's fairly easily. Slow is smooth and smooth is fast! Throttle was defaulted to 50/50 on my radio, and didn't know until I got home. Got that fixed for next time. First time I hit the big triple, I launched it off the track. That rx8.2 and pro4hd 4300 combo with 16t pinion really makes this nearly 7 lb truck turn into a missile. I really had to watch my trigger finger when heading up to jumps.

Had slight nose down issues, so I had to burst the throttle just after leaving the ramps to keep it level. Going to order some weights to add to the back to keep it flat.

Ran proline suburb supersofts on this moist hard packed dirt track that was somewhat smooth. Worked great. Had ion clays on for first couple laps and I didn't like them so I put the suburbs on. Also didn't have the vents cut out yet on the flotek body so that might help with the nose diving next time too.

And I already mentioned it once, but remember, THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME lol.

You looked really good. No worries about it being your first time. If you hadn't told us we probably wouldn't have known.

As was previously stated, adding weight to the rear may make your nose-down issues worse. In my opinion (and a lot of other folks) the frequent nose-down off of jumps is being caused by rear chassis slap. LOTS of different setup information out there to help with that (Springs/Pistons/Oil/Ride Height). What has worked for me is the 8x1.3 pistons with yellow springs and 32.5 Associated oil.

Are you running 32.5/yellow springs in the rear only or all around?

Well, I appreciate all the positive feedback!

I did order Kyosho 8x1.3's that should arrive later this week. I also have every oil weight Losi makes and might go one notch thicker if the piston doesn't help. Hopefully that does it

Default bearing problem

I was wondering if any of you guys are having major bearing problems with kits sold around late Sept 2013? The reason for my question is last Sunday at the track my son was complaining about the bearings in his 410. He said since he go his kit (birthday present from Dad) last Sept 27 he has had all of the wheel bearings go out. When I say out they fell apart. I've had my 410 for about a year without any problems like that. I'm thinking his kit might have gotten bearings that didn't get oiled from the factory or something like that. I'm just curious to find out if this is just an isolated incident or something others are having problems with. One other thing this time of year we run only on a well groomed high bite indoor track, not hard on bearings at all. We always practice together, so he's not out running in the sand or any thing like that.

Yeah, had one outside bearing disintegrate after about 6 days indoor. Replaced all outside bearings with freshies and haven't had an issue.
About to swap them out with some $1 revolutions for good measure.
A main order in September.

Even easier, pull up the kit for the truck and grab the kit (no discount, still $1 a bearing) or pick & choose which ones you want from the list.

What spare parts should i get for this truck ?

Also i going to use the stock setup also never driven it on dirt but on carpet and it did nosedive but the owner had no play in the sway bars or anything . But it turned great in the tight turns compared to the SCTE .
