Some of the items are composite and not alum and the chassis isnt milled as much less machine time, and prob just alot of little details like the alum wheel hexes on the eb48 are composite on the sct...all those little things add up! Tenko said this sucker is durable and i cant wait because im sick of weak short course trucks!

Parts wise though, I found a place that sells parts cheaper than tower even with discount codes as well as amain. Hopefully they get the Tekno SCT410 parts too.

Anyone know how the final drive ratio on the 410 compares to the SCTE? Just wanting to figure out if I will need a pinion size I don't currently have in my box.

I think the transmission of the scte is 3.88888889:1 and the SCT10 is 4:1. The SCTE has a 40T spur and it's 44T for the SCT410.

So the SCT410 should need a larger pinion to get the same FDR as the SCTE. Or I might be totally off...
