I'm looking for the lengths eyelet to eyelet. I got a b44 parts lot and one of the rollers is missing shocks so I'd like to get a set of http://www.gmade.net/bbs/zboard.php?...desc=asc&no=30

need to know the lengths

Can you tell me how carbide has more bite then ceramics? The only differance is the hardness between the two. Has nothing to do with finish.

I don't want to get into a my balls are better than yours debate cause its all about preference and testing. If you have tried them and like ceramic then by all means run them. I prefer carbide. The grab on a carbide or steel ball is just better IMO. Off power the ceramics felt pretty good. On power I got a lot of slip. The bark was a different sound softer sound would be my best description.

But soft balls on a soft ring more bite. Hard balls on a soft ring less bite. It's not rocket science.

I have never been able to get the performance I want out of a ceramic diff. Now I have to say that ceramic bearings are pretty free compared to any other I have ran.

Front center to center 75.15mm with one limiter, So you could play with shims one way or another .75mm.

Rear center to center 89.75mm

This is with both front and rear with a .78mm or .030 inch shim so you could go longer by that amount both front and rear.

Let me know if I can help more. Those are sweet looking shocks.

No trouble at all. I know how it is when you have a Q. Good luck, if you try them out update us for sure. I ran progressive on my GT and still have them. They were pretty good not worth the money but I liked them. Still on the truck after all these years....

I've ran ceramics many times. I do not care for them.

We get it,you like ceramics. Does'nt mean you have to keep trying to prove they are superior over carbide. Its a personal preference. Move on.

+1000. Probably half his post here are exactly that. What I have learned quickly in this hobby is there is A LOT of personal preference involved. Just because you like it better does not mean it always is. Folks just have to try things for themselves to find what's the best for them.

Exactly! Just because it works for you does'nt make it the only way or the best way for everyone. I read a post a few days ago that the OP said to never adjust you DR or Expo on your radio for some reason,I dont remember why. I could not live without those functions on my radio. Like the old saying goes "There's more then one way to skin a cat".

Not a even a question which is better ..

Ceramic's save the racer money.

Think its the most important point I have tried to make ....

A racer saves about $24 over carbide each time they rebuild the diff's in a B44.

A fact ...

Saving money is way more important then proving who's right or wrong ....
