I'm super surprised that with the big bores it's still 369.99. Could easily be 400 and everyone would still buy it. 120 bucks for big bores alone...

I see quite a few B44/B44.1s in the FS thread..haha

I think I really want this kit! :tire:

EDIT: Clean and well maintained 44.1 for sale possibly incoming.

you guys who say just buy the shocks don't realize how much of a change +8 chassis is. I obviously haven't driven one on a 4wd, but the effects it has on the 2wd are staggering. It's 2 different cars. There's simply no reason to believe that the same wouldn't hold true on the 4wd. I think that is going to actually be a bigger upgrade than the 12mm shocks in the long run.

Ask any 4.1 owner out there...... if they could only get one, the long chassis or the BB shocks, they would all tell you the long chassis.

That just goes to show that the .2 gets the best of both worlds. And at a great price too.

I like how AE does not bend me over at checkout

Will this make 1/10 4wd buggy popular again? Lets hope so.

My 44.1 drives really good, this one will probably be real nice to drive.

i have a b44 and the new one looks so much the same and you can just get the big bore shocks and the shock tower for about 30 more $ instead of paying 100$ more for 'the new model'

Big bores and springs $120 + you need the new shock towers at least $60 for a set..... might as well buy a fresh car with the other goodies.

I would rather have the long chassis than big bores on the 4.1, but I would rather have the big bores over the long chassis on the 44.1 -- the reason being that the b44 sits on the ground (21mm) and has like zero pack and chassis slaps way worse than the 4.1 ever did, making the big bores huge.

Kit details reflect no tires included. States tires, not wheels.

Nice to see (on page 4) they updated and include correct number of shims needed on the outdrives. 6/3

Would be awesome if you didn't have to grind on a servo to make it fit like the 44.1. I just loved taking my new Savox out of the box and dremeling the case.

Have a built but never ran b44.1 for sale if anyone is interested.
