My 6s 3300mah hardcase lipo weighs the same (or less if I remember correctly) then a 4s 5000mah and gets more runtime.

I've run all three configs, currently 1550 on 6s and it's perfect. Tekin motor with hobbywing 150a esc. I run nanotech 4300 6s packs and get through up to 18mins or so at full. I also run a losi 8ight-t 2.0 and the weight is perfect.

If u run 4s get hyperion 6500mah packs, those will last you several seasons.
That is exactly why I started this thread, all of our local racers are running 4 cell and 2000kv motors, and although I've only been running electric buggy for two years, I've been reading a lot of info about racers dropping to lower KV motors and larger cell batteries that are just as fast or faster, run cooler and have longer run times. My biggest concern was the extra weight. I knew that I could go down in Mah's with the 6 cell and get the weight close to a higher Mah 4 cell, but really need 20-22 min of race time. Like I said earlier some of the indoor track's here in MI are running 20 min truggy mains, combining nitro and electric. Real world, what kind of run times could I expect for RX8 80% punch control 1350Kv Tekin motor and 6 cell 4500Mh Battery?

I think the 4500Mh may be a happy medium for weight and run time.

Has anyone run this combo?
Thanks
Ron
