What size pinion should I be running with a 10.5 T motor and 75t spur?

I run a 23 with a 76 spur and it comes off at 40 degrees C. Not sure what that's in F, but it's classed as reasonably cool.
So with a 75t spur give 23 a try, but temp it after 3 mins.

Anybody running the Avid Springs? I was thinking about buying the package deal for both front and rear but a lot of times you end up paying for Springs that are either way to stiff or soft.

Default Need Help Quick

Hey guys... at a race and bent a rear shock shaft. The shop doesn't carry kyosho parts... are there any other shafts that will work on the rb6?

Losi for sure will not its 3.5mm thick. AE might work in a pinch, I would replace both rears to be symmetric.

Thanks for the reply. The AE one didn't work either... It's 3.06mm thick. Probably could have made it work by reaming out the o-ring spacer but I ended up bending the original shaft back and crossed my fingers. New Kyosho shafts are on the way... Along with some spares. Oddly enough another RB6 bent his rear shaft yesterday too. Wasn't the cars fault. Can't speak for the other guy but I got hung up sideways on a pipe... another car overshot the jump and did a nose dive between my tire and wing landing directly on the shock.

The Schelle rack is made with the reverse built in. So a reversed Kyosho rack is the same as the Schelle rack with no shims.

Thanks. And using the outside holes tames the steering more?

Yup. You'll get less mid corner and exit steering.

I'm using the Zack Rogers setup but have the older style MMR suspension hangers. I have both the wide and narrow versions (from Exotek) but which do you guys recommend?

So what's the more popular choice for speedo placement in a mid motor? Speedo in front of the battery with battery all the back or speedo in back of battery with battery pushed foward?? Running the car on medium bite clay in mod.
