Hey guys I just raced my rb6 for the first time last night and loved won a heat and qualified 2nd. Now I am running rear motor and the rear is locked but has a on power push. I am wondering if mid motor would be better what's everyone's opinion with this car?

From ride height adjusts to just letting off the throttle a bit, an on power push can be from many different things. Mid motor is faster as long as you have "medium" grip or more. I have yet to try mine outdoors at an actual "loose" track but i have the feeling it might be just fine.

I dont think the RB6 will do well at all in a loose outdoor setting. Our track when good is a solid medium grip track, sometimes might push a semi high grip track, but when its dry its miserable to drive, youd have to put so much weight in the back it wouldnt even be worth it. my car drives really well when we have a good water schedule but when we are at the tail end of the heats i might as well pull it off the track, i lose easily a lap and a half.

You don't need a low profile servo. I am running mine with a full size servo but the receiver is mounted along side the battery. So the layout is like this, Servo, Battery, Speed Control, Motor Brace, Motor.

If you do get a low profile servo you could probably run the receiver behind it instead of on its side. However, I have yet to find a low profile servo that I feel comfortable with its speed and torque output.

Hey guys, have any rb6 owners come from the b4.2/c4.2 platform and can give a short comparison. I currently run c4.2 and deciding between rb6 or b5 and b5m

I was also able to drive the rear motor b5 back to back with my rb6 last night and I must say the rb6 was way faster through the whoop section and tracked straight way better under power

I came from a B4.2 before i got my RB6, the last set up i ran was Maifields set up from CRCRC and it was the best set up i had run to date. I wanted the option of mid motor without having to have two cars so i got the RB6 used already set up in MM. I was shocked at how easy this car is to drive and especially jumping right into MM with a 7.5 motor. i think what shocked me the most is that this car turned better than my B4.2, the RB6 jumps better as well in the MM set up. Ive become so comfortable at MM that i havent even tried the RB6 in RM form.
