The carbon parts are not the same weight, front tower is 1-2 grams lighter, rear is 4-5 grams lighter(rear motor), arms are about 2 grams lighter each.

Then you go and add alloy rear hubs, alloy toe blocks, alloy bellcranks, +misc alloy bling parts...



Best case, you save 1 sticky wight from the car....

If I can share with you guys on the one10 shaking servo: I changed in a spare one10 from my RB5, which hadn't experienced shaking. On the RB6 it would shake. I toned down the EPA to 95% and the shaking had gone.

This leads me to question, is the shaking possibly caused by the Kyosho alum steering cranks and arms? I don't recall shaking with the stock plastic arms at 100% EPA.

I'll also like to try a different KO model later too (RSx Response).

Between carbon parts, ti screws and mip puck system I droped almost 50grams off the car. With the stock chassis I am right at 1500 grams. Shaving that weight made a big differance in how the car feels, for the better.

My stock rb6 is at 1415 grams right now, had to put a full pack to get upto minimum weight. Except the carbon parts all lightweight parts and titanium on her. Pucks do make a lot of difference and eliminating the slipper.

thanks I will order them for the summer season. Winter indoor I break too many stock plastic parts earlier in the mornings cos of the cold.

How do you eliminate the slipper? I just lock mine down for 17.5 but taking it off would lower rotating mass. Pics if you have any.

Mine was also under weight, so I went with a full size servo and added a few other items to make weight.

I will look into the turbo hub, thanks for the tip.

The avid setup is impressive, you have to buy the topshaft too, but mine weighed just under 10g for the whole slipper setup, vs 25g for the VTS I was using..

I have a custom works eliminator I will give it a try when I get the chance, the cw eliminator uses the b3/touring car style spur gear. I have them as small as 55 tooth for oval racing.

Yep you need an avid top shaft for it to work. Custom works I got but its sloppy. Tower hobbies sells it. Both need the avid top shaft.
