do you also change pins at the same time
No the pins will never wear. But check the front inner hinge pins as they can bend over time. Also the underside of the front arm near the bumper scrapes on the ground and could wear through eventually.

After running my car for 12 months I rebuilt it with my nib spares and kept the worn parts as spares. I replaced the front arms for the above issue, the caster block to remove slop and new rear drive shafts and diff hubs. The car is now like brand new again. I had new ball cups for the turnbuckles but had no slop so left the old ones on.

Brilliant that makes life much easier. I already bought the avid long axle conversion so the rears not a problem anymore. So now my question is where do i need to put the spacer? In front of the hex or between the hub and hex, or both like mikexray said??
On the kit axle you have 1mm spacer between the hex and the bearing, and a 2mm spacer on the inside of the hub. To run other wheels run the 2mm between the hex and bearing and the 1mm on the inside. Yes your track width is now wider but still under legal width. To correct track width problem you flip the caster block inset to the narrow position. I actually ran this setup for awhile with the kit wheels as it has a slightly different feel.

I did see them too but not sure about them so I played it safe & I have on the way (& hope to be here soon) RB5 Front Wheel Shaft (UM506) & Clamping Wheel Hub Set (LAW30GM)
Will be trying JC, AKA and eventually Proline wheels.
Decided to shimmed the RB6 axles on my MM and will try the Wheel Hubs and RB5 axles on my RM RB6 I figured not an expensive exercise to try to what its like.

I have ordered the narrow wheel nuts for the rear

I used to just use the serrated nuts and I never had a wheel come off. It was always in the back of my mind though that the axle was never into the nylon of the locknut. So for the added security, I bought the avid kit.

Cheap and enough for 2 cars with 2 spares. At $3 for 10 nuts, and being super cool looking low profile black nuts, I don't understand why everyone who wants to run something other than kyo wheels doesn't have these.

Because where i live nobody stocks kyosho wheels at all. Plus they probably cost more.
