standard axles are fine just use serrated wheel nuts like the JConcepts ones.

Just finished building my kit and I have to say, the shocks and ball diff are the smoothest things I've ever built.

So I ran my 6 for the first time today. It seems to have too much steering, is there a way to tone it down a little bit? Other then that this thing is absolutely dialed. Best buggy I have ever drove. It hooks up awesome, flies absolutely great, and just feels so planted. Another thing, how do you guys keep the rear tires from hitting the wing when hitting a jump, and landing a jump? I used the stock holes and it hit so bad that I moved the wing back about 6 mm but it still hits.

I prefer the JC 6.5" hi clearance wing, there is one with the cutouts for K cars.

JC wings are good or even the Upgrade wings. I prefer the upgrade and LMR wings. Very durable.

anyone have the new JConcepts motor plate? I just replaced all the gears in my transmission because it started getting noisy, only to find out my stock motor plate was slightly tweaked. Looks like a new motor plate for me.

Thanks for sharing, going to add it to my list even though I just spent 27 on the AE TC6 set.

I think im gonna try 29° of caster this weekend to tame the steering. Has anyone tried 34° of caster? Is it way too much?

Default lower shock balls

Is anyone using metal lower shock balls? If so are they any of the below:
KYOW0136 (hard steel)
KYOW0201H (alum)
SER1647 (Serpent steel)
SER804251 (Serpent alum)
TKR5058A (Tekno alum)

The Kyosho balls don't seem to have the short straight section on either end of the ball that the stock molded parts do, though if they're 5 mm wide that should be all that matters.
