seeing that a conversion will cost you 76% of the cost of the new kit, wouldn't it be more beneficial to sell your RB5 for $200+/- and come out on top???

especially if the car has new arms and other spares you have that may not convert. you add that to your sale and its looking even better.

76% of the cost of the new kit only if you are buying it from North America.

RC Champ is selling their RB6 kits for 30% off of the Japanese MRSP USD$ 559 -> $390.

Anyone can do what they want. I will be buying parts from RC Champ to upgrade my RB5.

No idea there. They are running RT5's with BB shocks at the Nats.

I hope they do an rt6.

Looking at the manual for the rb6 it looks like you could just bolt rt5 suspension on it. So kyosho just need to make front and rear shock towers, and a truck length chassis and plastic side bits. Throw the truck big bores in the kit and there done.

So for a cheap out lay kyosho could sell me another $400+ car

Maybe next year Looking to me like there gonna release a rt5 sp2 before an rt6. THe only reason i say this is because jared has a one hole shock tower which is new the only thing on the car that's new!

Well, Tebo finished 2nd with the RB6 at the Nats. There was no beating Cav at his home track. I saw A3 and Tebo was hitting those curbs a lot harder than the other guys and the car did not seem to care. Overall I think it was a good showing for the car.

Yeah, 2nd was a great finish for the new car! He still beat Maifield too! Cav was on fire in every class. There was no beating him, no matter how good your car was.

The RB6 looked fantastic out on the track. Tebo said he doesn't have to push it as hard as he had to push the RB5. I like that!

Tebos truck does not have a new shock tower. He just dremeled off the remaining holes and that helps not crack up the body in the rear.

2nd place at a Nats is pretty unreal considering the car's been out less than a month, and Tebo's really the only one to run it so he's kind of on an island with it. If I'm not mistaken, he had the fast lap too in A3 w/ a 19.1...flying. Can't wait to get my two boxes

Only thing im worried about is the drive shafts, if they are 65.5mm then im good, I have a full complete other RB5 minus shocks to use for tight indoor tracks, so I could sell the RB5 I have now and buy the RB6 when it comes, I need a better radio first. KO Euros on my near future.
