tlr22sct 1.5
Im not sure that they will have all 4 length of shafts available for the truck until the 22t2.0 comes out. But the new plastics look great. Im no expert or team driver but i think the 4wd buggy will be before we see the 22sct2.0!!! Im just glad losi is back and back better than ever!

Casper - is the 22 2.0 diff the same as the diff in the 22 SCT - with the addition of heat treated thrust washers?

Are the new shock parts going to help with the leaking that many of us (including myself) are seeing out the bottom through the o-rings? I lose about 1/8" worth of oil (that I refill to the top) after each Saturday practice. I'm even running the TSR silicone o-rings, they worked at first, now leaking again.

FYI..This chart contains the upgraded parts on the 22 2.0..Some will work on the 22 sct
Hi Frank,
What 22 2.0 parts are compatiable with the 22 sct? That is, which parts do I need to upgrade my shocks; Can I use the 22 sct arms with the front spindle, rear caster blocks and rear hubs or do I need to use the 22 2.0 arms; Would need to use the 22 2.0 steering rack, etc.

This is pretty great news for the 22 platform. Good to see Losi taking note of what hasn't been working and releasing updates. With so many 22 buggy guys jumping ship for the B4 and others, I guess they had a little financial fire under their butts. Hopefully the 2.0 will prove to be a great buggy and rebalance the staring grids in Losi's favor.
In the meantime, we'll gladly take those updated parts for our SCTs

22 2.0
Frank/Casper,
I just ordered my 22 SCT with loads of hopups, so being mindful of that what are the essential (in order) 22 2.0 parts I should get and when will these parts be available? Casper I am running your motor/ESC combo.
Many thanks

I don't think any 2.0 part is "essential". In fact, I would say even most of the existing TLR hop-ups aren't "essential", the 22SCT is solid out of the box. I've only replaced things that have annoyed me for some time, biggest one being the steering rack (replaced with Exotek). Otherwise, the only other complain I have is leaky shocks (at the bottom o-rings), nothing else about the truck has given me any problems. A lot of people here run it "as is" or with very little upgrades. So, save your cash and try out what you have coming in the mail first.

I would get the shock stuff. (o-rings and spacers, pistons) since it keeps the shocks from leaking and I am keeps them still smooht. Not sure how much of the rest of it has been tested on the SCT so not sure on the rest of it. I am sure it all would work well but I would run the SCT stock for now and then try the 22B updates as you get used to the truck.

Thanks Casper, Will get shock parts, but when will it be available?
Also is the current slipper clutch weak that you need the new upgrade?
