First run on my new SCT....ball cups came off balls 5 or 6 times...body already has a big crack in it. Other than that...kick ass...got lots of tuning to do, but overall, all is good.

I'm aware of the ball cup problems and I want to verify that yes...they pop off!!

Another great weekend with my 22 SCT in mod. Truck feels really good overall and for the 3rd race out in 2 weeks the truck is awesome. It does what I want it do as its smooth and very consistent for me. Really can't ask for too much more from my truck. Going to change a shim or so but just very little steps from where the setup is now. Just going to see if I can fine tune it to be even better for our track but not drastic as its really fun to drive just like it is. Best SC truck I have driven SC when they first came out. Can't say that I'm brand loyal as I almost never run Losi that much over the last 20 years but really glad I tried the SC. My new 22 buggy feels just a stable or more than the SC does so that makes very happy. Durability is awesome as well.

Props to Casper for the setup that I'm using to start with. Got me right in the ball park for our track. Lots of setups work I'm sure but I know when I tried his XXX SCT setup and it worked for me the first time I decided what the hell and tried his 22 SC and 22 buggy setups and again they got me right in the ball park. Again I'm sure lots of other setups work but just posting what has helped me since I'm really a Losi newbie.

Wyd - That truck lets you run at a whole 'nother level. Can you go back to the Slash? Thanks!

You are correct. It doesn't look like the horn is not all the way down on the servo shaft. But the screw holding the horn it tight. It's the stock losi horn

I did get a crack in the body in the front wheel well area and never really wreck it hard any of the 3 times I race it. It does flex some since I cut out areas to make the air flow thru the body more. No ball cup issues on the truck or the new buggy. Will keep a check on them in the upcoming weeks. If they become a problem I will change them out for something else.

I am using the same servo and have no problems. I have the servo horn one tooth to the right so it angles off to the right. (if your looking at it from the front of the truck)

If it's like the 22 buggy horns, you really have to jam it all the way down. It's a tight fit.

Agreed. The plastic ones are very tight( I thought it was just me). The aluminum ones slide right on though.

It does work well for me. I will keep the Slash though as I just like them but man this new Losi has made me a believer.

Your truck works just fine. Just need to make it thru the first turn and you will be fine.

Do most of you guys run your caster blocks in spaced forward or back? I found on my SC and Buggy that I like them spaced back to shorten it a little and that I have more overall steering without my truck and buggy getting over steer. I know it worked in touring cars doing that so after I tried my current setups I then tried each one with the caster blocks in the back position and really like it.
