Well I got my first laps with the 22SCT tonight at FZRC in Sarasota Florida. The track had been rained on from Tropical Storm Isaac. The clay was somewhat wet and very loose on top. I had a ton of rooster tail. Was running a blink 13.5 motor.

These are the problems and good things I had with the truck. Stripped out the stock servo horns. Put on a TLR metal servo horn. Ball cups on my truck will be a problem. I ran the fronts cut down and the rears not cut down. A front turn buckle popped off and a rear turn buckle popped off. My SC10 never had problems with turn buckles. These pop offs weren't from hitting pipes either. Just weird landings off jumps.

The truck ran fantastic though. Ran mid motor and kept putting the throttle rate up and up till I hit 150%. Never looped the truck once. I need to work on getting the truck to rotate through the corners and get the front end working better but this is going to be a much better truck than the SC10. Worked very well on a very very loose wet track.

Yes I saw that but that was stated for the front not the rear.

Unless you are running on blue groove, the truck works very well without sway bars. I tried mine both ways and thats why the setup I posted said it works well without them too. So, I dont feel mine is useless. They are just another tuning option available when they are ready.

Sorry for the confusion, I blew out, I was referring to both. If running without, I would consider buggy yellow springs on the rear.

You know what, the way the forum is set up, the search function doesn't work. Now if someone was able to make a new thread *GASP* titled "22SCT ball cup trouble" i'm sure EVERYONE would be able to find the answers they needed. But you continue to want us to make 50000 page threads that are completely unsearchable but only for people asking the same questions that may or may not get replied to. But I am the douche, whatever.
X2...thats why this site fails for me. If I want to find a simple setup on a TLRSCT I may have to look through 3000+ pages on one thread...Awesome

once again agreed.

For a setup?

Have you tried petit rc setup database?

http://www.petitrc.com/reglages/SetupSheetDataBase.htm

For the 22SCT since it is brand new you won't find one on there, there is one on the very first page of this thread though!

front page request:

it would be nice to have all of the spring rates/colors (and TLR part numbers) available for the truck. this being my first 22, there seems to be a lot of options with buggy springs, truck springs, etc and people recommending either type.

TLR5179 2.5 Red Truck
TLR5172 2.5 Red
TLR5180 2.9 Orange Truck
TLR5173 2.9 Orange
TLR5181 3.2 Silver Truck

TLR5183 3.8 Blue Truck

I listed the truck ones first on the progression as they are longer and thus will feel softer due to a shorter spring being more progressive.
