HONG NOR/OFNA X3 SABRE-E 1/8TH ELECTRIC BUGGY
#18
The buggy has been good, just like the Nitro the changes made on the car are felt. The steering is so good and very smooth, the more you yank on steering though the more responsive it can be so it works for both aggressive and smooth driver. Nick Black from OCRC has a buggy and his is more aggressive than mine but he likes the setup that way and is working on it more to dial it in to OCRC.
This buggy is way under rated and I hope others that have the buggy respond to how it handles because it's really good.

Have not been on here as of late but I'll post what happened over the weekend at the Sidewinder race at ARC, I ran both inter.nitro and e- buggy classes and did pretty good. Both of my Sabres made the A-mains but I did better in my E-Sabre as I had qualified 3rd. The racing was good and had two 10min races the first was good as I managed to get into the lead when Drake made a mistake and came charging back for the win, I took some bad tumbles and allowed 3rd to catch up and overtake to finish where I started. the 2nd race got used up a bit and fell back and caught back up, then I got a rock or something stuck in my steering because I could not turn and smashed hard into pipe flying over into the other lanes I finished 8th in that race and overall result was a 4th place final. The buggy is so good around corners but I do need to work on oils when the track gets really bumpy. But was really happy to have my buggy contend for some hardware.

Hi ,
It is a combo that I bought.
It came with a Xerun 4274 pro sensor KV2000.
Hi speed is about the same as my X3 nitro with OS speed.21 XZB
Compared to nitro torque is much higher, even with timming 7 degrees and punch set at 1 :-)
You need a lot of traction when pushing the car, here in holland we only have astro turf tracks so it is hard for me to give information about other type circuits.

getting ready for its madien voyage this sat!! ...local rules are any motor on 2s or 1400kv on 4s ...
ran my 4pole 550 tenshock 4000kv 6400mah 70c 2s in practice ...car is dialed ...cant wait to run it this spring on a bigger track(4s 2050kv), more of a shake down running it indoors on a small but fun track
i will need a new body for outdoors LOL but those cut outs dropped temps big time LOL
