Arrow Do I need better shocks?

I just bought a very used SC10RS RTR. It's a roller w/body. I've got electronics but wanted to know about shocks.

The truck came with the standard shocks with clip on spacers which I don't like.

Should I just buy the Team Associated V2 shocks for the SC10?

Would something else be better?

TIA,

I am sure gamedog, my point was that he does not have the v2's yet, so why not wait for the bb. I have the v2's and probably wont upgrade. The BB springs are fine.

No one ever said anything about big bores for truck being out soon. We have only seen bb's for buggy. Not saying they don't exist but don't be dissapointed when the buggy bb's are released and trucks aren't.

Wow! And I thought computer technology had its difficulties.

But, good advice on just running what I've got since I've never driven any of the Associated stuff....... I won't know what I'm missing, right? Sooooooo I'll just wait and time really isn't an issue. One week, one month is all the same to me ATM.

Which BB springs are you guys running? Losi 22T? I've heard many used those springs but the front springs look much shorter than the V2 springs.

For BB Springs, the Avid Yellow all around work well if you're running Blue front/Green rears.

Losi rates/colors would be something like:

Green Front/Yellow rear (3.5/2.0) p/n: 5182/5167

Not sure on the overall length though.

Yeah right. They've been saying this for almost a year now.

Dog, You're running the V2 shocks in your SC10? Just curious cuz when I check AMain, they say the V2 shocks are only compatible with the B4 buggys.

Just needed to pick the correct ones, the ones you had were buggy rears.
