You can have a little but if you add alot you'll run into other problems.
I cant imagine running the truck with 1.5 degree toe blocks. I feel that's way too much. Too much toe in and the tires could rub on the rear shocks...lol

1.5 degrees is almost straight, the rear end would be to loose to drive, seems 3.0 is a pretty standard setup. You have to find a sweet spot between your front a d rear with the toe, hell even my dad 1:1 sandrail has some toe in the rear, but I do agree, good luck with 1.5 toe it won't handle at all

I run on a carpet track, with all the steering adjustments made with camber, camber link position and length shock positions..etc I still would like to have a total of 2° rear to in, So the smallest toe block AE sales is 2.5°, so with it and a set of 0.5° hubs installed "backwards" I can have 2° toe. Like I said, my Durango is able to reverse the hubs and I run it with 2° rear toe and have the fastest lap and TQ record and want to try with a SC10, just don't think a SC10 will hang with my mid-motor Durango and don't want to spend another $250 on a X-factory SCX-60 conversion since I have built my own FT SC10.2 + .
Guess I will just try it, figured somebody on here might have already done it.

Wildcat1971 03-03-2013 02:46 PM

just try it, you will either like it or not.

Ok...so I got a question for all u sc10ers:D if a redcat volcano and a sc10 have a collision head on both wide open...which would have the worse damage?? Sc10 or volcano?!?
Cause this happened to me today at the track and both took damage, but one was way worse than the other, just thought I'd do a trivia style thang out of this and see what y'all thank!!;);)

Well a friend of mine brought his buddy out and he has a redcat and just wanted to bash...so we was like ok, run with us in a few races....so we raced and his truck was all over the place...so I was like let me see how that thang handles, so I said here drive my sc10 and I'll drive that, just try not to crash:lol: so I took the lil truck and this thang is geared wayyyy to high, I bet it will do prolly 45 or 50 mph...so I took a lap and came down the strait un aware that he is coming up the other way...so in my mind I'm like ima open this lil bugger up...so well yeah, u can imagine what happened and the redcat was totaled ...the sc10 ?? I lost a right Aarm :eek: and the redcat lost the servo horn and link, the turn buckle and the c hub, as well as the knuckle, and the shock and shock tower, and of course the a arm as well:D and bent the shock shaft:eek: everyone seen it and was like whaaattt!!!! There is no way those two cars colided cause it looked like a 1/8 buggy had hit that redcat and the sc10 just had the a arm cracked!!!:eek:

The SC10, in all kit and RTR forms comes with 3.0 rear toe as far as I know. The part below is the one for the SC10. It's a 3.0 toe block with built in antisquat.
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...-Chassis-Plate

If you get this one(comes with the B4.1, etc.), you can change your rear toe from 2.5 to 4.0 and the shims are for your antisquat.

It is extremely common practice to run rear toe. Again, good luck running anything less that 2.5.

Can anyone tell me with the standard SC10RS rtr, do dog bones fall out in big crashes?
like is it common

Chamelion 03-04-2013 01:20 AM

Hmm, hinge pin tore free from my 3.5 degree arm mount. I've changed up to the 4 degree I had here. What sort of difference am I likely to notice?

A little more rear traction and a little less steering

Cheers, that's fine. It corners like it's on rails anyway. A little less won't be a big deal, I don't think. Traction where I generally drive is always welcome.

i have a novak kinetic, its big,but it actually works really well.power is very smooth and brakes are good,i run blinky so the only thing i did was add some brake control and thats it. had to add 1/2 oz on reciever side and now its well balanced.

what is everyone running for gearing with a 7.5 motor? med-large indoor med bite track
