That is a difference the servo, motoe, and esc but I didn't think that would b a handling issue tho I have the same setting on the as far as expo, dual rate, and drag brake on the esc, gearing and can timing. Idk man but anyway they both feel good with small differences tho man

I think he's talking about the F.T. Hinge Pin Brace :)
IMO, the F.T. aluminum hinge pin brace is not a "performance" upgrade, but rather a "durability" upgrade. I have seen a few guys at the track who are running the plastic braces on their RS SC10's, and after a gnarly wreck, the hinge pins popped out. I have the aluminum F.T. brace on my truck and have never had a single issue with that area of the truck. Hope that answers your question... |

Servos can change quite a bit. I slow mine down and still use Expo to gain stability. I drove Nismomike's truck and his was to fast for my liking. It felt like a totally different truck even though our setups are real close.
Ah yeah. that's it. I agree, its a durability part. |

I took the trucks home last nite and did my normal maintainence and saw that the better handling truck had stock steering knucles and the axel height had one washer on top and my original truck has the hex conversion up front so I cnt place a washer on them at all so, how would that effect my trucks being different? And what actually do axel height do? Now my trucks do feel a lot better but I know I'm getting em dialed but they stillv need a lil tweekin here n there, as hard as I drive my trucks they hold up overall good but which ever turn I'm making if I come in hard my inner rear lifts off the ground not so far as I will tilt but enough to see from the driverstand. It seems that I may b having a little too much body roll. I took out 2 limiters a few days ago when I had 5 in the shocks last week. Taking them out helped my traction roll prob but now my inner rear tire lifts up, what can b done to keep the handling very good but keep my rear a lil more planted?
Sounds like you should try a anti-sway bar. Putting the limiters back in will reduce some of that roll, but so will the anti-sway bar. |
Are the tires on one truck worn more than the other? It doesn't take much wear on a tire to make it feel different.

Yeah my new truck has slicks with super firm foams and they hook up great and the other truck has near slicks but. The foams are a lil broken down. The front are very close together tho

Anyone have a direct contact to STRC, I have a broken steering rack and only need a single part and don't want to order another complete kit.
It's going on 2 weeks with multiple attempts at contacting on their site and at customer service at strc.com Still NO REPLY... |

Thanks for the assistance guys. I gave a bunch of money to Amain last night, along with some more to brushlesshobbies.com, and even more to an eBay seller for a server PS. I'll be busy Friday night/Saturday.
I'm torn whether to hit up SRC again, or try Glitch. It's a bit farther for me to drive to Glitch. |

I am sure this has been asked, but what Losi BB springs do you recommend for a med-high bite med sized clay track?

Just got the front axels and such to finish the hex conversion and then my SC10 will be done, Avid steering rack, Avid springs, Avid retainers, full Avid bearing kit (I should be sponsored by Avid by now, right?) and a full screw kit front Trick-Parts. Have to say, truck looks wicked and can't wait to finish building it. Thinking of running Savox servo wired up for HV off the battery... Thoughts?
