Tekno RC EB48 Thread
#1231
They are mostly live on our site now. A Main should have a partial shipment today with more being delivered next week (they need time to add them to their site). Nitrohouse ordered parts today and should have them by Monday. Stormer has a partial spare supply in transit. There are others too.
Just curious, which parts should I keep in my box? In testing, did you find any parts that are likely to brake in hard crashes? Or should I just order the standard parts like arms, turnbuckles, rod ends, and shock ends.
Yup, I'm parts hoarder
Actually, just not sure if the on site hobby shop will have spare parts anytime soon.

That's one of the first thins I noticed when I first saw it. I didn't know it was the EB48 and I didn't know it was Austin Blair. I was just expecting it to flip due to the aggressive driving, but it didn't. I marshaled it once during practice, when I saw the grey I knew it was Tekno, but not anything I'd seen before. I go and ask the guy about it and I find out it is in fact the EB48, and Austin is driving it. I'd seen him run at NorCal before, but not that aggressive. The handling was very impressive.

Stock some gear parts and a spur gear and call it good kind of kit. Cant wait to see one up close and even better drive one.
It looks like you can have all the fun you want with it, most importantly it looks like it was built for the Hot Blooded RC RACER! in mind.
I bet you can drive the wheels off this kit in any track condition.
My current kit has till this Saturday's race to shape up or its getting sold and I will have one of these before the end of the month.
Good luck fellas.

Tower with discount is $500 with free shipping. Tower just charged me for my back order, so I can only assume that I will be getting shipping info soon

Tower after super saver club will come to $515 shipped, if they have any left after pre orders. The price has gone up to $565 at tower before any discounts. I got in on the pre order for $475 after gold club savings.

Build mine till package G. It was 4am then I went to bed. JUst woke up now[11:00 am]. Watch out for package A. You need to take of the thin washer that is behind each spider gear. The washers make them too tight. Took an hour to figure out it was the washers. I think the last two pages has a warning about those washers. Finally got a buyer for my SCTE. I sell that it will be enough to fund this beast.
