Awesome. Thanks!

Just curious, which parts should I keep in my box? In testing, did you find any parts that are likely to brake in hard crashes? Or should I just order the standard parts like arms, turnbuckles, rod ends, and shock ends.

Yup, I'm parts hoarder Actually, just not sure if the on site hobby shop will have spare parts anytime soon.

That's one of the first thins I noticed when I first saw it. I didn't know it was the EB48 and I didn't know it was Austin Blair. I was just expecting it to flip due to the aggressive driving, but it didn't. I marshaled it once during practice, when I saw the grey I knew it was Tekno, but not anything I'd seen before. I go and ask the guy about it and I find out it is in fact the EB48, and Austin is driving it. I'd seen him run at NorCal before, but not that aggressive. The handling was very impressive.

I can only go by the pics and vids and anything anyone posts on there build. That said on our track its demanding that the camber links be rock solid. This kits most impressive first looks are quite nice. It looks like its corn bread and potato fed. Its on steroids...LOL Which means it will react to the tracks conditions with out giving up due to the stress, every piece on it looks bullet proof. Soft small or weak plastic flex to much and are unstable on rough tracks and our track will truly be a good test of that.

Stock some gear parts and a spur gear and call it good kind of kit. Cant wait to see one up close and even better drive one.

It looks like you can have all the fun you want with it, most importantly it looks like it was built for the Hot Blooded RC RACER! in mind.

I bet you can drive the wheels off this kit in any track condition.

My current kit has till this Saturday's race to shape up or its getting sold and I will have one of these before the end of the month.

Good luck fellas.

I got mine from Stormer. They had it for $485. I wasn't able to find it any cheaper.

Right now it looks like A Main has it for $525 with a coupon code.

Yeah, I'm looking to make a similar order soon. Every car I've had in the past (I am actually confident that Tekno will break the norm) has had one weak part and all of a sudden that part can't be found because several hundred of them are lying around in some guy's garage. Then my new car was sitting on the shelf until all the new parts came back in stock.

Tower with discount is $500 with free shipping. Tower just charged me for my back order, so I can only assume that I will be getting shipping info soon

Tower after super saver club will come to $515 shipped, if they have any left after pre orders. The price has gone up to $565 at tower before any discounts. I got in on the pre order for $475 after gold club savings.

Standard stuff I guess, arms, shock parts, diff parts, bumpers. Maybe some driveshaft parts.

Maybe steering blocks (spindles), spindle carriers, rear hubs even though we never broke any of those during testing .

Build mine till package G. It was 4am then I went to bed. JUst woke up now[11:00 am]. Watch out for package A. You need to take of the thin washer that is behind each spider gear. The washers make them too tight. Took an hour to figure out it was the washers. I think the last two pages has a warning about those washers. Finally got a buyer for my SCTE. I sell that it will be enough to fund this beast.
