Or, do the rear carriers add in toe , and hence you then match up the values between the image and the setup sheet?

As it sits right now, they are different by .5
is this picture right? that would explain some things lol i thought i was running 3 deg rear toe but iif i am running 5 that would explain the push in the corners

Max rear toe is 4.5 based on all the setup sheets.

Love it. More room than stock. And elongate the mounting holes the body lasts forever.

Went to our local track yesterday and they added another 750lbs of salt to the glaze track, owner says it helps prevent the track from cracking, i had to spend a few hours cleaning, can't be good for bearings and metal parts, wish they didn't do this

Oooh, I would not like salt on our track!

Not long ago I made a post about how durable my Tekno's have been.

We had a big three day meet at our track where they made some radical changes, including a new table top and jumps area that was BRUTAL on cars.

Yesterday I made comment to my fellow racers who were kept busy fixing/repairing their cars that "mine had got dirt all over it".

I almost spoke to soon. The only thing I had broken during a race before was a front shock shaft, and in the last race of the weekend I noticed what looked to be a strange wobble at the front of my car. It seemed to be ok so I kept on until at the very end the front was clearly down on one side, but I was so close and I got it over the line, ahead of some guys breathing down my neck.

This time it was the shock shaft on the other side.

Default EB48.2 shocks

Need some help understanding the instructions on the shocks. When assembling the instructions says have a little rebound as possible, to have a 1/4inch of the bottom of the shock shaft. I thought when racing on dirt tracks you would need abit of rebound in your shocks. Is the instructions wrong or have i been miss informed about building shocks. Any help would be great as this has been messing with my head since i put together my first buggy. Oh by the way my thoughts on the build is from a technical point of view it went really well and can see why everybody wants one. Can't wait till i start racing it.

alright first race of season is in.

Now need the help lol.

Spent pretty much yesterday hunting for traction. mind the conditions are not the best for traction lol:

look towards end of video:

+ YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

I eventually tried 4.5 toe to try and get it back and it helped, but still need a bit more out of the vehicle.

I think I am going to give austin's setup a try again as my base point as a team driver for tekno I believe, Torian's vehicle was lighting it up out there.

All in all though, was a fun day just went it went a bit better as when my setup is off, my driving is like really really off lol.

Main things in general needed are a more planted rear end. jump handling actually seemed fine considering I was runnng a softer spring setup (HB Greys all around) with Kyosho 1.3 x 8 hole pistons.

8 Wow this kyosho pistons was Butta.

I was thinking OK let me see.

Hats off to you for your insight on this.
